2017 was a packed year for Disney fans. We had D23 expo, Coco, Pandora the Land of Avatar, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and many more. Although it's not a year with a D23 expo, we still have many things happening in 2018.
Many notable things are happening in 2018 like Pixar Pier, A Wrinkle in Time, Infinity War, and Incredibles 2. One by one I'll talk about everything happening in 2018. First thing happening in 2018 is The Black Panther. This Marvel movie will be the second movie featuring this hero. Coming out in February this film is sure to be a fan favorite. Next is Frozen on Broadway. This adaptation of the feature length film Frozen, will start showing on February 22.
In March, the highly anticipated movie, A Wrinkle in Time, will premiere. Based on the classic book of the same name this movie will star Oprah Winfrey, Mindy Kaling, and Reese Witherspoon. In the same month Star Wars Day at Sea will be happening on the Disney Cruise Line. This limited time offer allows you to meet characters, get dresses up, and experience out of this world entertainment. Finally, this month is going to end with the premiere of American Idol on ABC.
May is going to be packed with action! Starting with Infinity Wars, movie theaters will be packed. This movie, the second Marvel movie this year, will be the first to two parts. Later in the month we'll get Solo, a Star Wars story all about Han Solo. This film is sure to be a block buster. Ending the month, at Disneyland, we'll be getting Pixar Fest. A six month long festival celebrating everything Pixar.
This Summer is going to be packed with Pixar. Starting on the east coast, Walt Disney World will be getting Toy Story Land. Similar to the Toy Story Land in Hong Kong Disneyland, this new addition will be great. Over on the west coast Disneyland fans will be excited to know Pixar Pier is coming to Disney California Adventure. This refurbishment to Paradise Pier will freshen the park up, featuring newer movies including Inside Out and Toy Story. Lastly, the long anticipated movie Incredibles 2 will come out. Not much is known about this movie, but I'm positive it'll be great.
In November we'll have two Disney movies coming out. Kicking off the season, The Nutcracker and Four Realms come out. This movie, inspired by the classic story looks beautiful. Later, on November 21, Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 will come out. This movie follows Ralph as he tries to become viral online.
Rounding the year out we'll get Mary Poppins Returns. Starting Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda, from Hamilton fame, this will be a wonderful movie to see this holiday season.
